Why a collective byline
Thailand's immigration rules change constantly — sometimes by Royal Gazette announcement, sometimes by an unannounced change of practice at a single immigration office. A page written once by one person and never revisited would be wrong within months. Every page on this site is instead maintained continuously: researched, updated, and re-verified by the editorial team as rules move. The byline reflects how the work is actually done.
We do not publish fictional author personas, stock-photo "experts," or credentials we cannot substantiate. Where a topic requires licensed legal advice, the page says so and points you to a qualified Thai immigration lawyer instead of pretending to be one.
How we verify
- Official sources first. Rules are checked against the Thai Immigration Bureau, the official Thai e-Visa portal, Royal Gazette publications, and ministry announcements.
- Policy news is dated and sourced. Every policy change we report links the underlying announcement or established Thai press coverage; see the visa news tracker.
- Honest freshness. The Last updated date on a page changes only when the content substantively changes — never automatically.
- Corrections are public. Errors reported by readers are reviewed and corrected per our editorial standards.
