Rayong Immigration (ตรวจคนเข้าเมืองจังหวัดระยอง) handles visa extensions, 90-day reports, re-entry permits and TM30 for foreigners living anywhere in Rayong province, from the Map Ta Phut industrial estates to Ban Phe and Koh Samet. It moved in October 2025. Since 1 October 2025 the office has worked from a new building at 28 I-1 Road, Map Ta Phut. The old office is still open, but only for migrant workers from Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam and for investigation work. If you are a retiree, spouse, teacher or engineer, go to I-1 Road.

The Move to I-1 Road
Immigration Division 3 announced the move on 1 October 2025: "Relocation of Rayong Immigration Office (New Location), Effective from October 1, 2025", at 28 I-One Road, Map Ta Phut. The announcement adds that the former office continues to provide limited services: work for migrant workers from Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam, and investigation, crime tips and deportation matters. The Division did not publish the old address in that notice, and neither do we. Use the new one.
The Royal Thai Police chief formally opened the building on 14 November 2025. Division 3's report of the ceremony explains why the office moved: Rayong sits in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), the number of foreigners using the office had outgrown the old premises, and the new site is a 49-rai plot of state land on I-1 Road. The report also says the office has brought in new information systems and AI tools to cut processing steps.
If a map app, a visa agent's page or an older guide gives you another address, it is out of date. Even the office's own website still shows an old "Sukhumvit Road, Huay Pong" line in its page header, but its contact page and Division 3's relocation notice both give 28 I-1 Road. Use that.
Which Areas This Office Covers
Rayong Immigration serves the whole of Rayong province. The Immigration Bureau's office-hours list shows it as "Rayong Immigration (Map Ta Phut)", and lists U-Tapao airport immigration, which runs 24 hours, alongside it. The airport is a point of entry, not a service counter for residents.
- Koh Samet and Ban Phe are in Rayong province, so residents file here.
- Pattaya, Jomtien, Sattahip and Bang Saray are in Chonburi. That province has its own office: see Pattaya Immigration.

Extension of a visa-exempt or tourist stay
The Immigration Bureau's published documents:
- Form TM.7, filed by you in person
- Copies of your passport photo page, visa (if any) and latest entry stamp
- One photo, 4 x 6 cm, taken within the last six months
- 1,900 THB fee
The Bureau caps this extension at 7 days for nationals of Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Iran, Nepal, Togo, Nigeria and Uganda; others can get up to 30. See visa exemption extension.
Work, retirement and marriage extensions
Many foreigners in Rayong are here on a Non-Immigrant B for jobs in the EEC's refineries, plants and estates; their annual extension follows the work-permit route in our business visa extension guide. Retirees and spouses follow the national criteria, fee 1,900 THB:
- Retirement: age 50 or over, and 65,000 THB a month in income, or 800,000 THB in a Thai bank held for two months before applying and three months after approval (then not below 400,000 THB), or a combination totalling 800,000 THB. See the retirement extension guide.
- Marriage to a Thai national: 40,000 THB a month in income, or 400,000 THB in a Thai bank held for the previous two months. Both spouses attend.
90-day report, re-entry permit, TM30
- 90-day report (TM.47): free. The window runs from 15 days before to 7 days after your due date; late reports cost 2,000 THB. The first report is made in person, through someone you authorise, or by registered post, and later ones can go online at tm47.immigration.go.th. See 90-day reporting.

Do You Need a Visa?
Since 15 September 2026, nationals of 60 countries and territories, including the US, UK, Canada, Australia, most of Europe and India, get a 30-day visa exemption for tourism, replacing the 60-day scheme. Anyone who entered before 15 September keeps the stay they were given. Seychelles and Mauritius get 15 days; Azerbaijan, Belarus and Serbia are the only nationalities left on Visa on Arrival. At this office you can extend a 30-day exempt stay once, by up to 30 days, for 1,900 THB. For work in the EEC you need a Non-Immigrant B and a work permit; retirees need a Non-Immigrant O. Most visas are applied for at thaievisa.go.th before you travel. The visa finder will narrow it down.
Practical Notes
- Mind the lunch break. The office publishes 08:30-12:00 and 13:00-16:30. Arriving at 12:05 means waiting an hour.
- No Division 3 booking calendar. The Immigration Bureau's online appointment pages cover Division 1 (Bangkok), Ayutthaya and Divisions 4 to 6. Rayong is in Division 3 and is not on them, so plan on arriving early.
- LINE first. The office gives LINE ID @rayongimm on its relocation notice; its Facebook page is rayongimmigration. Use them for holiday closures and document questions.
- Use the office's own map pin. Division 3's relocation notice gives Google Maps coordinates 12.724098, 101.140226 for the new building. Plan on a car or taxi from Rayong town or Ban Phe.
